Intro to Affinity Designer

I typically work with Affinity design software since Adobe requires subscription which tends to cost a lot so I just want to introduce you on how to get started with Affinity Designer.

If you've installed Affinity Designer and open it up on your computer, or even tablet such as an iPad, for example, a New Document window pops up, or you can click on File > New or Ctrl + N on PC. I'm not sure about Mac since I do not have a Mac computer.

In the New Document window, there are Account, New, Open, Recent, Template, and Lessons icons. In the Account icon, you can only get add-ons if you're signed up for an account on Affinity's website. When you click on the Open icon, it opens up the folder in which your files are located.

In the Recent icon, you can access your most recent files.

In the Templates icon, you can either access templates in the Affinity Store or those you've created by yourself.

In the Lessons icon, you can access artwork created by artists and see how they're done in Affinity Designer.
